Welcome to Flicks on Fleek!  This is a movie blog, but not what you’d expect.  I am not a film critic, I am a film buff.  This is your spot for learning about movies from back in the day and today.  I think it’s safe to say that we all enjoy motion pictures now and again, but do we really appreciate them?  On this blog, I’ll break down different elements of films and the film industry to help you understand what makes them funny, scary, inspiring, or just mushy.  In other words, I’m gonna drop some knowledge on you.   You ever watch a movie that you really liked, but couldn’t quite figure out why you liked it?  What you may not realize is what made that movie so cool was actually the cinematography, or the costumes, or the soundtrack, or the award winning performances by the actors.  Hopefully by reading my posts, you’ll be able to understand the different elements of films, and be able to look for the good stuff next time you go out to the movies.  (warning: over thinking a romantic comedy’s character development can ruin a date, believe me I know)
